What template you are editing? are you editing in the Template editor, how are you editing or making
the changes? You may try using any visual html editor like MS Frontpage to make it easy for you.
If you download the templates to your PC then upload them to the server, make sure to transfer these files
in ASCII mode not in Binary mode.

is an issue with the way you are copying/pasting, what borwser you are using IE? what OS your PC?
You can restoer the template you messed up from our demo on our website, just copy/past .
